Durban Property Managers is a specialist estate agency and property management company that was founded by Ahmed Mahomedy in 1976. Its management team consists of the partners of Horwath Mahomedy Omar Paruk and they are supported by a complement of property administration staff backed up by specialist property administration software.

The company provides specialist property consulting services in the following areas: 

• Consulting with clients on the feasibility of the purchase and sale of properties
• Property syndications
• Assisting with the drafting of purchase and sale agreements for property transactions
• Appointing and engaging with Conveyancers for the transfer of properties
• Recruiting tenants on behalf of landlords/owners
• Assisting with the drafting of lease/tenancy agreements
• Collecting monthly rentals/levies on behalf of landlords/owners
• Receiving, attending to and rectifying complaints from tenants/owners by engaging external contractors on behalf of landlords/owners

At present the portfolio under monthly management consists of 100 commercial units and 345 residential units spread across Durban and its surrounding suburbs, Pietermaritzburg, Bloemfontien and Johannesburg.
